Compare Before You Commit

Money · 3-page PDF · 15-25 minutes

A cost-comparison worksheet for purchases, subscriptions, and offers.

What this workbook helps you do

A low first payment does not tell you the full cost. Compare the total amount, recurring charges, cancellation terms, and what happens if you miss a payment. Slow down when an offer relies on secrecy or pressure. Use official information and ask a trusted adult or educator to review confusing terms.

A practice example

Offer A costs $25 a month for twelve months. Offer B costs $240 upfront. Compare the full $300 with $240, then ask whether you need the purchase at all and can afford either option.
