Community partners · 3-page PDF · 15-25 minutes
A facilitation guide that asks young people what useful support looks like.
What this workbook helps you do
A listening session should not be an announcement disguised as a question. Explain the purpose, how notes will be used, and what participants can decline to discuss. Ask about everyday barriers and existing strengths. Report back on what you heard and what you can realistically do with it.
A practice example
Participants say a proposed meeting time conflicts with transit and work. The organization revises the schedule instead of interpreting low attendance as a lack of commitment.
