Community partners · 3-page PDF · 15-25 minutes
Clarify audience, contribution, responsibilities, and the next conversation.
What this workbook helps you do
Good intentions do not settle the work of a partnership. Put the shared purpose, proposed activity, staff responsibilities, resources, and decision process in writing. Separate a proposal from an agreed commitment. Confirm costs, timing, safeguarding responsibilities, and any permissions before announcing a collaboration.
A practice example
A school proposes a workshop while a community organization proposes follow-up mentoring. A brief helps both parties see who is responsible for each part and what remains unapproved.
