Design a Practical Youth Workshop

Community partners · 3-page PDF · 15-25 minutes

A planning canvas for one audience, one skill, and one usable takeaway.

What this workbook helps you do

Start with something participants should be able to do by the end. Choose an activity that lets them practice it, and plan how the room, materials, access needs, and staffing will support participation. A full agenda is not evidence of learning. Leave time for questions and a next action.

A practice example

For a budgeting workshop, participants practice comparing a sample income with costs. The takeaway is a completed practice budget and a question to investigate, not a promise of financial independence.

Inside the download

Start with these questions

  1. Who is the workshop for, and what do they already know?
  2. What single skill should participants practice?
